Self Centering Drill Guides:

Use our self centering drill guides when drilling pilot holes for mounting screws used in mortise lock bodies, latch faces, hinges, etc. Because the hole in the hardware is larger than the drill bit used to make the pilot hole for the screw, it is hard to drill the hole in the exact center. An off center pilot hole can cause mis-aligned hardware and possible binding or crooked looking installation

Each Drill Guide has a standard 1/4" hex drive shank which snaps into the quick change chuck for fast positive non-slip control.
The hardened steel bushing aligns the drill bit in counter sunk mounting hole for perfect alignment.
The knurled barrel unscrews for easy cleaning.
Uses standard high speed drill bits for long life and easy replacement.
